Privacy Policy
How TierOne Labs collects, uses, and protects your information.
Last updated: March 21, 2026
TierOne Labs is committed to transparency. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We keep it plain and simple — no legal jargon for its own sake.
Information We Collect
When you interact with TierOne Labs — whether through our website contact form, email correspondence, or during a partnership engagement — we may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you submit our contact form or reach out directly.
- Business information: Details about your startup, product, or organisation that you share during discovery calls or scoping sessions.
- Usage data: Standard web analytics including pages visited, time on site, and browser/device type. This data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to your identity.
- Communication records: Emails, messages, and meeting notes from our working relationship.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve our services. Specifically:
- To respond to your enquiries and follow up on contact form submissions.
- To scope, plan, and deliver our product partnership engagements.
- To communicate project updates, milestones, and delivery progress.
- To send occasional updates about TierOne Labs (only if you have opted in).
- To improve our website and service based on aggregated usage patterns.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Third-Party Services
To operate our services, we work with a small number of trusted third-party providers:
- EmailJS: Used to deliver messages sent via our contact form. Your name, email address, and message content are transmitted through EmailJS servers to reach our team. EmailJS's privacy policy applies to this processing.
- Google Analytics (if enabled): Used to understand website usage patterns in aggregate form.
- Calendly: Used to schedule discovery and consultation calls. If you book a call, Calendly's privacy policy governs the data you enter there.
We select third-party providers carefully and only share the minimum information necessary for them to provide their service.
Data Security
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include:
- Encrypted communications (HTTPS) on all web interactions.
- Access controls limiting who within TierOne Labs can view client information.
- Secure storage of project documentation and communication records.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Specifically:
- Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months.
- Client project records (communications, scoping documents, deliverables) are retained for the duration of our engagement and up to 3 years thereafter.
- You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it.
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time.
- Object to certain types of processing.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at team@tieronelabs.com. We will respond within 30 days.
